Samosa House, located in Edmonton, AB, is a hidden gem offering a fusion of African and Middle Eastern cuisine. The menu boasts a variety of appetizers such as Fish Samosa and Malawax, as well as hearty meals like Short Ribs and Beef Stew. The tantalizing aroma of their signature wings and homemade burgers will have your mouth watering before the first bite.
As a food reviewer, I was impressed by the unique flavors and authenticity of the dishes at Samosa House. The Buuur/Mindazi (African Donut) was a delightful surprise, and the Halwa (Somalian sweet) was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The Camel Meal, served with your choice of carb, was a highlight of my dining experience - tender meat with aromatic spices that left me craving more.
What sets Samosa House apart is not just the delicious food, but also the warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a part of the family. The bakery selection is a must-try, with Pineapple Cake and Tiramisu Cake stealing the show.
Overall, Samosa House is a culinary adventure that should not be missed. From the first bite to the last, you'll be captivated by the flavors and hospitality that make this restaurant a true standout in the Edmonton dining scene.

REVIEW FOR FRIEND: Was told they Experts in Samosa and I don't blame him they make some killer food. Stop in and try some on the way home or for a quick lunch on the way down the Block! Hot hand crafted soul food for those cold days
Went a few days ago and got veggie samosas. Best samosa I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. I will be returning. I have been thinking of those samosas since. 10000/10
Came here last night looking for a mango shake and it did not dissapoint. The owner here is very hospitable and kind, I decided to take one beef samosa as well just to try and I regret not buying more, one of the best samosas I’ve had definitely. Will be coming back again
The samosas here are always delicious and flavourful. The xalwo and tiramisu are great too. Highly recommend
Wow, delicious samosas (we had beef) and very tasty wings. The bbq sauce on the wings tasted homemade and I want the recipe! This place is open late until midnight, which is great on a Friday or Saturday night after some drinks.
I've been a regular here since it first opened a few years ago, and it never disappoints. The samosas and Somali chai are my all-time favorites—rich in flavor and always satisfying. Every now and then, I treat myself to a slice of their pineapple cake, which is consistently fresh, moist, and delicious. The prices are very reasonable, making it easy to indulge without breaking the bank. The owner, a professional and dedicated woman, clearly takes great pride in her work. Her son is a courteous young man with a calm and respectful approach to customer service. Commendable level of cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere. Give it a try!
Best samosas hands down. I've been coming here for years and the woman who works during the day is one of the sweetest and kindest women I've ever met. They're also open late during ramadan so this is a great spot to break fast!
